The SanDisk 1TB USB-C Stick was introduced as the latest computer accessory by Western Digital at CES 2018 to provide users with the ability to carry all their data with them at all times in a compact device.
Presently in the prototype stage, the drive incorporates USB-C connectivity, which would make it suitable for use with computers but also smartphones and other mobile devices. This would enable users to backup their data without the need for a traditional PC or laptop to expand their mobile capabilities.
The SanDisk 1TB USB-C Stick has been revealed with little information made available including pricing, availability or read/write speeds. However, given the USB-C port is capable of supporting up to 5Gbps transfer speeds, we could see similar specs come about in the near future.
