The Food Network Captured What 100 Calories of Food Looks Like

With many consumers becoming more health-conscious as of late, the Food Network released an informative photography series that displays exactly what 100 calories of food looks like.

Included are images of miniature salty pretzels, a plain baked potato, dried figs, canned sardines and exactly 100 fresh raspberries and radishes. In addition to the images, the Food Network supplies its viewers with all the information that they need to know just what exactly makes the 100 calories of food fit the mold.

For example, it states the measurements of the baked potato down to a quarter of an inch and the length of the broccoli sprouts pictured. With this, the Food Network aims to better inform its viewers on how to control their portions so that they can successfully lead healthy lifestyles.
