There aren't many tunnels where I live, so I get my fix with 19 Terrific Tunnels. These tunnels are the cream of the crop and need to be seen to be believed.
Next time you travel take time out to appreciate the tunnels that you may come across. Not every place in the world has these architectural marvels to enjoy. We have to make do with 19 Terrific Tunnels.
Implications - My favorite of these terrific tunnel finds have got to be the Nordic metro art installations as it's a great concept integrating artwork into subway systems. It would certainly make commuter trips much more enjoyable and educational. The tubular microwave would also be great for those looking to cook hot dog-shaped foods. If you have food shaped like anything else though, I'm afraid you're out of luck.
