The advancement of robotics and technology, overall, has allowed the geek in us embrace what has seemed (until recently) to only exist in underground scientific experiments and Japanese anime: robotic exoskeletons. With the popularity of blockbusters such as Transformers and G.I. Joe, and the idea of superhuman strength portrayed in comics and graphic novels, it’s no wonder we are seeing increasing amounts of robotic exoskeletons -- not to mention the other benefits of exoskeletons such as helping the disabled and those with dangerous occupations.
