From Cartoon-Like Sofas to Cord-Contoured Lights

These outlined designs have a flattened appearance that make them seem like they were pulled from the pages of a comic book and put into real life.
The simple silhouettes are playful and evocative of cartoons drawings with thick black lines around them. But even when these traditionally 2D elements are brought into reality, they do not lose their striking graphic quality, creating an optical illusion that makes these 3D objects seem like they are flat.
Some of these designs even take the concept quite literally, like bicycle-shaped bike racks, wall-mounted lighting in the shape of a desk lamps and simple rocking horse silhouettes that appear to be just made of lines. Although these outlined designs are simple, they are anything but “flat.”
