Time is a construct, but the June 2018 watch trends make it clear that designers have constructed some pretty beautiful pieces out of time. Philosophies in watch design vary greatly, but the connecting factor is that time marches forward apace, holding at its whim the strongest and the weakest alike with indiscriminate, all-encompassing inevitability.
Even within the relatively limited range of luxury watch design, the June 2018 watch trends are highly varied. Some designers opt to display luxury through tasteful minimalism, using a lack of statement features as the statement in and of itself. Other designers go a more traditional route, adding as much grandeur to the luxury watches they design as possible. It's something of an academic exercise, though, as time comes for all.
