British fashion photographer Glen Luchford is known for his distinctly dark style. From simple gray backgrounds to metropolitan settings, his work is brimming with ennui and elegance.
Luchford started out in the fashion industry in 1997 when he signed exclusively to Prada. He has since then shot editorials and campaigns for Levi’s, Yves Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein and Mercedes-Benz. In each of these campaigns, Luchford brings his distinct aesthetic yet manages to maintain the identity of the brand. This is an invaluable skill for any commercial or fashion photographer as one needs to have a distinguished enough style that they stand out from the competition, but not be so idiosyncratic that they overshadow the brand they are supposed to promote.
