Summer is the perfect season to enjoy all of these future-forward hammock designs. The classic hammock is a near-perfect creation, but even it can be improved. For example, designers have been recently creating hammocks that are more functional and easier on the eyes. The list of new functions includes seating more people and even being able to float on water.
While new functions are awesome, it's great to see folks adding a touch of class to the world's most relaxing piece of furniture. Gone are the days when you'd likely only find a hammock on an island retreat. Nowadays, the relaxed seating swing can be found in the most modern homes. The hammock will always be the easy way to paradise for the everyman, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement.
