These eccentric equestrian editorials reveal a preoccupation in the fashion world with ponies, horses and tousled manes. The animals have been coveted for decades for their beauty and almost human qualities. And while the sport is known to be costly and historically aristocratic, these photoshoots have brought the upper crust sport to the masses.

Romantic ranch photography and fab farming fashion have entered the mainstream style realm.
