Urban Oddball Imagery

The Jaime Salazar 'Miami is a Paradise' Collection is Outlandish

Florida-based photographer Jaime Salazar has done a tour of his domestic surroundings, and compiled what he observed in his 'Miami is a Paradise' collection. A slightly satirical title choice, the photography series exhibits the lives and wares of Miami locals, and has put some force behind VICE Magazine's conviction that the region tends to not take clothing too seriously.

Salazar's slice of Miami street life reveals some odd laughter-inducing images. A male-female duo is captured wearing half-horse suits, fully engaged in some sort of brawl, while a masked bearded man is shown clad in a head-to-toe Spider-man suit on a table top. With no discernible order to the freaky chaos, Salazar has exhibited a range of unconventional urban activity.
