Wienerschnitzel's New Corn Dogs Bring a Menu Favorite to Retail

Wienerschnitzel is bringing one of its signature menu items to grocery store shelves for the first time. The iconic hot dog chain has announced that its famous corndogs will soon be available in the frozen food aisles of select supermarkets across California and Nevada.

The rollout, developed in partnership with Golden West Food Group, includes two flavors: the Original Corn Dog and a Chili Cheese Flavored Corn Dog, the latter serving as a retail exclusive. Shoppers will be able to find the new frozen corndogs at more than 500 grocery locations, including Save Mart, FoodMaxx, Lucky, Albertsons, and Vons.

"Our corn dogs are perfect for a meal or quick snack, and we're excited to partner with Albertsons and Save Mart Brands to give people a first taste of them at retail," Doug Koegeboehn, Wienerschnitzel's CMO, said in the release.
