Walkers and FIFA have debuted a partnership in the UK that will see the snack brand celebrating the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 in a decidedly delicious way.
The partnership will see promotional packs of Walkers, Doritos and Wotsits branded with a QR code that can be used for revealing an instant prize and offering entry for the grand prize. The various prizes include FIFA World Cup 2026 merchandise, food delivery vouchers, home viewing bundles and two grand prizes of £10,000. The partnership will also see Walkers launching three limited-edition products including Walkers Wavy Spanish Queso, Walkers English Bangers & Mash and Walkers Max Portuguese Chorizo & Onion.
Portfolio Marketing Director Rob Pothier commented on the Walkers and FIFA partnership saying, "With crisps a classic choice when watching sport, the FIFA World Cup 2026 is a key calendar moment for retailers to drive category growth. The activity across our core range, supported by a standout on-pack activation, aims to support retailers in achieving exactly that."
