Forest Green Rovers claims to be the only vegan football club in the world, committed to a fully plant-based menu in 2015, and in 2025, the professional association football club launched a first-of-its-kind vegan football kit. Created for the 25-26 season, this kit makes the most of Reflo’s Reloop technology and recycled mono-fibre materials for a fully recyclable design at the end of its usable life. Aesthetically, the home and away kits both sport a leopard print pattern.
In previous seasons, football kits were created with bamboo and coffee grounds. "This season, our new strip pushes the boundary again," detailed chairman Dale Vince, "We’ve created the world’s first fully certified vegan football kit, by making sure the dyes we use, which are an often overlooked ingredient, are plant-based."
