The Sakura Cassis Strawberry Shiratama Frappuccino Reminds of Night

The Sakura Cassis Strawberry Shiratama Frappuccino is a new addition to Starbucks' Sakura series and it taps into the fact that cherry blossoms hold a special beauty at night. The new beverage plays with sweet and sour blackcurrant sauce, along with Sakura Strawberry flavored sauce (a combination of Shiratama, milk, Sakura flower powder, and strawberry juice.) Finally, the dessert beverage is topped with whipped cream, Sakura Strawberry Shave Chocolate, and moist Yatsuhashi, a glutinous rice flour, sugar, and cinnamon confection.

To enhance drinkers' enjoyment of the beverage, Starbucks Japan launched the Starbucks Sakura AR experience, which is inspired by viewing the stunning cherry blossoms at night. Unlike most sakura beverages that are light pink in color, this one reminds of dusk.
