This device features a GameBoy Advance-inspired vertical design with an almost-identical button layout. The Retro Pixel Pocket only includes a D-pad, four face buttons, a volume rocker, and an L and R button, meaning it does not have a joystick.
Due to this button layout, the Retro Pixel Pocket is only intended to play retro video games from the SNES, NES, GameBoy, and other 80s-90s era devices. However, the Pixel Pocket is incredibly compact and its battery lasts upwards of seven hours on a single charge, making it an excellent travel companion.
The Retro Pixel Pocket is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz 'AllwInner A64' CPU. This is combined with the Mali-400 MP2 iGPU and 1GB of RAM to offer the user more than enough power to play retro titles on the go.
