Experimental Pi, a California-based company that creates and sells entertaining kits and products that revolve around the Raspberry Pi platform, has launched a fantastic new games console that is designed to be spectacularly compact yet surprisingly versatile.
The 'PiBoy Mini' is a games console that measures in at only 112 x 88 x 20 mm in size. However, its diminutive stature doesn't prevent it from offering a range of features that include a 3.5-inch LCD screen boasting a 640 x 480 resolution, more than sufficient for retro gaming. Elsewhere, the 'PiBoy Mini' offers HDMI connectivity, built-in charging and versatile gaming thanks to its D-pad, quadrant of primary buttons and pair of shoulder buttons.
Available for pre-order for a price of $90, the 'PiBoy Mini' is also easy to assemble, making it ideal for newcomers to the Raspberry Pi world.
