Takis has announced a significant reformulation initiative that will remove artificial colors and the preservative TBHQ across its entire product portfolio. This venture, which is informed by the increasing health-conscious purchasing behaviours of consumers, will be completed with a phased rollout. The full implementation of Takis' snack reformulation initiative is expected by the end of 2026.
The flavour-conscious move will affect Takis' most popular varieties like Fuego and Blue Heat, alongside newer offerings such as Pix, Xtreme Lime, and Jalapeño that were already formulated without synthetic colorants from their inception. This transition will be clearly indicated on packaging through a prominent 'No Artificial Colors Added' label.
