'DoorDash' is Expanding to Include a Rapid Grocery Delivery Service

'DoorDash,' the popular food delivery service, is now expanding its application's features to allow consumers to order on-demand groceries. This grocery delivery service will provide consumers with an array of products from participating stores on DoorDash's service within 10-15 minutes.

This new feature will first be available at DashMart in New York City, but DoorDash plans to rapidly expand the support for this feature across its many service industry partners. This service will cost DoorDash users either $0.99 or $1.99 based on the distance from the selected store. Alternatively, 'DashPass' subscribers will receive free delivery on grocery orders as well as occasional promotions and offers.

DoorDash has noted that it has one of the largest logistics networks in the United States, making 15 minute grocery delivery a very suitable addition to its platform.
