NVIDIA has revealed a new project dubbed the ‘Omniverse Avatar Cloud Engine’ dedicated to producing high-quality digital avatars without the hassles that come with computer technology and power. The engine relies on a system of existing technologies like Merlin, Metropolis, Riva, and NeMo Megatron for unique features, and is expected to eventually pass the Turing test. NVIDIA has plans to use this engine to create interactive avatars for video games, chatbots, customer service centers, and the Metaverse.
"Enjoy realistic, advanced Avatar development without the need for specialized expertise, equipment, or manually intensive workflows," NVIDIA writes in a blog post. "With cloud-based AI models, toolsets, and simulation technology, Omniverse ACE enables you to build realistic Avatars quickly."
