Béton Brut Presents a Striking Collection by Benni Allan

Oak seating arrangements are classic and timeless—however, few are as aesthetically pleasing and interesting as the ones displayed by London design gallery Béton Brut. The capsule, which is known as the Low Collection, has four distinct silhouettes. Benni Allan, the founder of EBBA Architects, is known to be the mastermind behind the striking oak seating range.

The pieces are curvaceous and are intended to accommodate low sitting—hence the name. Low seatting is popular in particular parts of the world and Benni Allan drew on "his background living in China and Spain, and his travels in Japan" for inspiration. A low seat, a high seat, a two-person bench, and a low table comprise the Low Collection. Each piece is made from solid oak and, therefore, carries a stylishly minimalist sensibility.
