The partnership is founded on an initial investigative study that utilized electroencephalogram (EEG) headsets to collect and analyze the brain activity of office workers as they performed tasks in different environments.
MeSpace and Neurable's objective was to obtain quantitative, physiological evidence regarding the impact of workspace design on mental states. Their research approach effectively moves beyond subjective employee surveys. The preliminary findings, which were gathered from a group of 25 participants, indicated statistically significant improvements across several cognitive metrics when using the MeSpace pods. These metrics included attention, mental calmness, and processing speed. They were consolidated into a single Cognitive Performance Index that showed a notable increase.
