The core function of this transfer centre is to segregate transit travelers from those who have reached their final destination, with the operational goal of increasing efficiency and reducing processing times at border control areas. Architecturally, the space is defined by a large skylight that floods the central area with natural light and a design motif based on a triangular grid, intended to symbolize the convergence of various travel routes. The selection of interior materials — from regional stone to wood — along with the incorporation of a green wall and a solar heating system, are elements chosen to reflect a local identity and incorporate sustainable design principles.
