Cotaparedes Arquitectos Develops a Beautiful Home in Mexico

The aesthetic of minimalist living spaces has grown in popularity over the last couple of years as individuals prioritize clutter-free lifestyles and seek out modernist sensibilities in interior design. Local studio Cotaparedes Arquitectos has completed one such pared-back project in Mexico. The home is dubbed 'The Cave' and it was specifically designed to fit the needs of a family living in the suburbs of Guadalajara.

The minimalist living space is enveloped with pure white walls and surfaces. This backdrop allows for the furniture to pop out. In order to optimize the balance of the space, Cotaparedes Arquitectos positioned the kitchen, living room, and dining room below grade. A tranquil courtyard with an olive tree is also included in the design of the minimalist living space.
