Air Canada Introduces New Live TV Sports Channels

Air Canada has introduced three new Live TV sports channels to its in-flight entertainment (IFE) system. The update coincides with the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Sportsnet ONE and Sportsnet East are already available to consumers, while TVA Sports will join the roster in May.

John Moody, Managing Director of Onboard Product at Air Canada, expressed excitement over showcasing the Stanley Cup Playoffs onboard: "Hockey is an integral part of the Canadian identity, so it only makes sense that we offer it in French and English to our customers as part of our extensive in-flight entertainment. These new channels further cement our dedication to Canada's game."

The Live TV sports channels, delivered through satellite connectivity to seat-back screens, include a range of programming such as extensive NHL coverage, Toronto Blue Jays and Raptors games, NBA, MLB, curling, and more.
