These LEGO Vignettes Recreate Iconic Banksy's Artwork

Jeff Frieson creates these imaginative LEGO vignettes that are redesigns of UK graffiti artist Banky's famous works. Titled 'Bricksy,' these pieces are additions to an already existing collection that involves Frieson setting up the LEGO scenes and taking photographs.

These LEGO vignettes feature a homeless Abraham Lincoln, a street art-covering mouse and two men in black that represent "Big Brother." While Banksy's own art is already political, sarcastic and humorous, Frieson adds his own personality and input by changing things like a graffitied wall from reading, "One NATION UNDER CCTV" to "ONE NATION ON REALITY TV." In this way, he is able to give praise to the original artist, while simultaneously bringing the art into modernity -- taking aim at new issues in a new society.
