Manuka Honey is a Key Botanical in the Distillation of Cygnet 22

Cygnet 22 is a new, female-forward premium gin from classical singer Katherine Jenkins OBE and it features an ingredient that's used daily by the performer. Manuka honey is an important part of the distillation of Cygnet 22, along with other botanicals like juniper, calendula, cassia bark, white peppercorns, bee pollen, lemon balm, sea salt, rose petals, hibiscus and heather.

"I wanted to create something that you can enjoy without having to hide it behind flavors or lots of sugary additions, to know that you’re drinking a really quality product, and that you can enjoy this in its simplest form," Katherine told The Spirits Business. Many consumers share this desire for drinks that they can enjoy without the overpowering sweetness of added sugars. Across beverages in general, consumers want healthier and more natural options that align with their wellness goals and taste preferences.
