343 Industries put out a 31-minute-long video detailing its plans for the future of 'Halo Infinite,' including the release of Halo Infinite Season 3. The developers stated that the team is no longer working on split-screen co-op mode, as this mode proved to be much more difficult than they anticipated. However, online multiplayer and multi-device co-op is still being released soon.
In addition to this announcement, 343 Industries released a roadmap detailing the future of the game. This includes the release of Forge Mode on November 8th, Online Co-Op Mode in Q1 of 2023, and new maps, weapons, and in-game content coming throughout the first half of 2023.
