Iberchem opened a new 30,000 sqm centre in Guangzhou's Zengcheng District, featuring expanded R&D laboratories, a fully robotised production centre and integrated warehousing to support its growth across China and Asia. The site, inaugurated with Croda leadership and diplomatic guests, brings together Iberchem's fragrance operations alongside Croda's Beauty Actives business to enable closer technical collaboration.
The campus comprises five buildings dedicated primarily to fragrances, with space for more than 170 employees, expanded creative and technical teams, and laboratories focused on microencapsulation and fragrance neuroscience. The robotised production centre is designed to improve precision, consistency and delivery times, while on-site botanicals expertise supports more holistic product development.
For brands, the new centre enables faster local innovation and closer collaboration, reflecting rising demand for advanced fragrance technologies and more sophisticated scent development across Asia.
