Punk-Themed Monochromatic Shoes

Goodhood and Vans Join Forces on Three Different Shoe Models

London-based retail label Goodhood works in collaboration with Vans on a capsule of signature sneaker models. The range features three familiar silhouettes and the overall design draws inspiration from the store's heritage and punk-informed beginnings.

This leads the collaborative effort to adopt a monochromatic color palette of only black and white, adorned with prints and graphic details that correlate to the overarching theme as well. The retail label unveiled that the choice to go with this muted color palette was to evoke a sense of a "cool mono aesthetic." The three sneaker models include Vans' signature OG Era LX, the Sk8-Mid, and the OG Slip-On LX. All of these are constructed from premium suede and canvas materials with graphics adorning the laces, soles, and uppers -- this includes webs and lightning bolts.
