Vans Unveils its Premium Old Skool Music Collection
Vans has recently announced its Premium Old Skool Music collection comprised of designs that honor the iconic silhouette. It boasts a timeless form and strong impact across music and skateboarding culture. The capsule aims to inspire new cultural innovators by fusing heritage into the models. The Old Skool also known as the Style 36 made its debut in 1977.
It was the second skate shoe by the brand and the first to have the signature Sidestripe we all know well today. In the new capsule, there are three unique series inspired by the Old Skool and its various genres of music and eras. Yesterday, the 70s-80s Punk capsule dropped. Next month, the 90s-2000s Warped Tour-inspired range will drop. April 10th will welcome the 2010 Hip Hop capsule. The first launch is designed with bold patterns and solids. The second features flame prints, checkerboard patterns, and retro energy. The last will have bright hues at the gum units.
