Vans Tokyo Design Collective Introduces the Vans Varsity Collection

Vans' Vans Tokyo Design Collective is a fashion-centric sub-label exclusive to Japan and it has just introduced the Vans Varsity collection. The series gives the rugged skate sneaker a formal angle which leans towards a silhouette better described as brogues. The OLD SKOOL and SK8-MID models are adorned with decorative punch perforations, which is known as the broguing technique.

The upper is crafted from soft suede materials and the perforations adorn the front panel of the shoes which are crafted in contrasting blue or red tones that continue onto the sole unit. To join the shoes, Vans Tokyo Design Collective has launched a range of classic and preppy looks including collared shirts, collegiate sweaters, and more -- it all launches on September 14th.
