A Team of Designers Create the Dung Dkar Cloak Project

EJTECH, works together with Judit Eszter Kárpáti, and Esteban de la Torre to create the Dung Dkar Cloak, which is an artful multidisciplinary research project. It results in an interactive experience in the form of an art installation by blending various elements. It taps into "digital jacquard weaving, sound synthesis, fractal geometry, and algorithmic thinking to unfold matter into the visual and sonic domain."

The cloak is designed with a blend of augmented textiles that create a multi-sensory experience with the addition of soundscape experiences as well. The series was first developed in Budapest at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design's Innovation Center. It was texted in a live space to be observed during the Sound Scene at the Hirshhorn Museum.
