Leap Motion's Collider Moves You Through a Tunnel of Colors & Music

'Collider' is an immersive audiovisual experience from Leap Motion that will take you on a self-controlled journey spinning through a tunnel of light and sound. Inspired by the look of the Large Hadron Collider, the experience was designed by Eddie Lee of Funktronic Labs, as part of a collaboration with DJ Baiyon, who is well-known in the Kyoto house and electronic music scene. While there are tons of visually stunning virtual reality experiences out there, Lee notes that "Having a musical experience that is real-time interactive hasn't really been explored yet."

The unique experience is provided by wearing the Oculus Rift DK1 and DK2 and the gestures you make will control the speed at which you propel yourself into the vortex of sights and sounds. Throughout the interactive experience, you'll see your hands projected before you like ghostly objects. The experience is also offered in a desktop mode via a free download from Leap Motion's app store.
