The California Pizza Kitchen 40th anniversary is being celebrated with the help of actress Busy Philipps who is reminding the brand that there's no need for reinvention or a midlife crisis because of the event.
The campaign features Philipps guiding CPK through the experience, which originally featured new branding inspired by the latest trends as a way to stay fresh. The brand is, however, encouraged to stay true to itself with the mantra 'We're 40 & Fine with It!' while also showcasing new and returning dishes for diners to try on their next visit.
Philipps commented on the California Pizza Kitchen 40th anniversary saying, "I’ve been a huge fan of CPK ever since I worked there as a hostess back in the day, so of course I was thrilled to help them celebrate this incredible anniversary. My job was to remind CPK that at 40 years old, there’s no need for reinvention. Their legacy and continued leadership of creating incredible flavors and lasting memories is exactly what will keep people of all ages loving the brand for many years to come."
