The Calbee Shrimp Chips have been given an overhaul by Calbee America to keep the snack product relevant with today's consumer who is increasingly seeking out new experiences. The signature snack product, which has been on the market for around six decades, is showing off a packaging refresh that includes bright, bold colors and a red shrimp to give them an easily recognizable profile. The snack range will include the classic flavor options such as Original, Hot Garlic and Sriracha Mayo alongside the new Chili Lime and Roasted Seaweed.
VP of Marketing Melanie Plaz spoke on the updated Calbee Shrimp Chips saying, "Asian families have passed down their love of Calbee Shrimp Chips to their children and communities for six decades and counting. Today, with distribution continuing to grow, new adventurous snackers are joining in the tradition and embracing the opportunity to learn about Japanese culture through food."
