Buttercloth Launches a Collection with the Van Gogh Museum

In collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum, the men's clothing company Buttercloth will release a small clothing line portraying some of Vincent Van Gogh's most famous works of art. The collection features over 35 self-portraits of Van Gogh, each printed on a series of short-sleeve button-up shirts, long-sleeve button-up shirts, short-sleeve t-shirts, and short-sleeve polos.

"Inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s appreciation for nature and color, I try to capture the spirit of van Gogh’s point of view throughout these Buttercloth exclusive garments, with beautiful patterns incorporating Vincent’s rich, colorful paintings," said Buttercloth founder and designer Danh Tran.

With more than 200 paintings, almost 500 sketches, and more than 700 letters, the Van Gogh Museum is home to the biggest collection of Vincent Van Gogh's creations anywhere in the world.
