Aldi Launched a Breakfast Club for Adults to Provide Support & Sustenance

Amidst a cost of living crisis, Aldi found that nearly half of parents from lower-income families are skipping meals to ensure their children can eat and in response, the discount supermarket launched a breakfast club for adults. Breakfast is often said to be the most important meal of the day but many families are finding that there is simply not enough food to go around.

Aldi's Adult's Breakfast Club will see donating 10 tons of healthy cereal and 5,000 gallons of milk and milk alternatives donated to foodbanks across the UK with charity partner Neighbourly. Additionally, Aldi will be increasing its efforts in supporting local schools since one-third of parents surveyed said that they rely on their children being provided breakfast by their school.
