Baker & Baker and Cinnabon have partnered on a series of baked goods in the UK that incorporate the signature cinnamon-forward flavor of Cinnabon in new formats.
The product range includes the Cinnabon Muffins and the Cinnabon Doughnuts, which are priced at £2 and £1.80, respectively, for each two-pack. The Cinnabon Muffins feature a soft cake with a cinnamon-forward filling with cream cheese frosting on top and a final sprinkle of cinnamon sugar. The Cinnabon Doughnuts follow a similar format with a cinnamon filling throughout each ring with a cream cheese-style frosting and cinnamon sugar.
Licensing Director at Baker & Baker Michael Bancroft commented on the Cinnabon partnership saying, "We’re excited to bring the iconic Cinnabon brand into a fresh in-store bakery, and we’ve identified a clear, untapped market opportunity for this type of premium bakery product in the UK. The Cinnabon brand will generate instant recognition amongst UK consumers within the bakery aisle and create a new, distinctive offering for retailers to drive sales in sweet bakery."
