The Awake VINGA eFoil Offers Access to Three Power Modes

The Awake VINGA eFoil has been announced by the brand as its first-ever electric hydrofoil board that will provide surfers with access to impressive power and performance when taking to the water. The system is achieved with a short carbon fiber board that works with an eFoil linear jet system to thrust the rider forward in one of three power modes. Riders can control the system with a handheld remote control, while two wing designs are available and offer dynamic cruising control.

The Awake VINGA eFoil was explained further by CEO Adam Treschow who said, "When we began to develop Vinga, we thought about how we could reward everyone who already has an Awake Rävik electric surfboard or those who might contemplate getting both. We thought about how to make the experience easier and more enjoyable. Then it occurred to us, what if you could take your battery from the Rävik and, simply put it into the Vinga."
