Before Miley, Selena, Gaga, Rihanna and Katy, the world of pop music had two reigning queens: Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera; this gallery, however, is dedicated to Christina Aguilera innovations. While Britney may have gone through some seriously rough times, she has bounced back and is bigger and better than ever. Unfortunately, Christina Aguilera has been unable to do the same, and this gallery is in honor of everything she has potential to be.

Growing up the '90s, Britney and Christina were a huge part of my childhood, but Ms. Genie in a Bottle was always my personal favorite. From her beginnings to her 'Stripped' days, to her years of thinking she was a modern-day Marilyn Monroe, Christina Aguilera has always stayed in the spotlight, for better or for worse.
