You may be familiar with the term '27 Club,' which is used to describe a group of celebrities and rock stars who have sadly passed away at the young age of 27, and unfortunately, Amy Winehouse joined that group earlier this year.

The group is comprised of other famous rock stars, such as Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain. Amy Winehouse, a recovering alcoholic and drug addict, passed away on July 23, 2011 of alcohol poisoning.

The singer, who was known for her famous beehive hairstyle, wife beater tank tops and heavy eyeliner, made quite an impact on the world of music and pop culture in her short five years in the spotlight.

In 2006, her album Back to Black won five Grammy awards, including Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
