Curated Pop Art Auctions

Pharrell’s JOOPITER Revisits Andy Warhol’s Print with a Curated Auction

Pharrell’s JOOPITER revisits Andy Warhol’s print era with a curated auction of 25 works that highlight the artist’s experimentation with repetition, colour and subject across his celebrated printmaking output. The digital auction, titled The Contemporary Take: Andy Warhol Prints, brings together a focused selection of screenprints that span several key series from Warhol’s career, including the Sunset prints that began as a hotel commission and became known for hundreds of unique colourways and tonal variation.

Included in the lineup are Warhol’s Mick Jagger portraits, which combine expressive hand-drawn lines with saturated blocks of colour, and examples from his Flowers series, where magazine imagery is transformed into vibrant, repeated motifs. The sale also features later prints that bridge pop aesthetics with abstraction, such as works influenced by camouflage patterns.
