Since the Old Spice social media campaign, other companies have been following suit in trying to come up with their own SM concepts. Skittles takes a go at it with their new ‘Update the Rainbow’ Facebook app.
In this Facebook stunt, users send in their status updates to a "Skittles Call Centre" which shows a Skittles staff member reading it aloud to the camera. This video then gets posted on your wall for the online community to see. The ‘Update the Rainbow’ Facebook app is definitely fun, but it is no Isaiah Mustafa.
