Small Town Brewery recently announced that it will be releasing a new version of its boozy root beer that is twice as alcoholic as the original. In under a year, 'Not Your Father's Root Beer' has become one of the top-selling craft beers in the US. Now the company is releasing an even boozier version for those who are looking to get a greater buzz from the soda-inspired beer.

To produce the new beer, Small Town Brewery is teaming up with the Wisconsin Brewing Company. Together, the brewers will launch a 10.7% ABV version of Not Your Father's Root Beer. The new beer will feature the same soda-inspired taste as the original, but with nearly double the alcohol content. The beer will be available in stores, as well as on draft at bars and restaurants across the US.

By making a beer that is twice as alcoholic at the brewery's original creation, the brand aims to satisfy consumers looking for a product that more closely resembles a beer than a soda.
