Last week, Trend Hunter’s Sixty was the first to break the news about Sarah Palin’s Kawasaki 704 glasses, which today have become the #1 search on Google Hot Trends. 

Critics are noting that Palin is becoming more well known for her style than her politics.  Either way, she is certainly offering McCain the celebrity status needed to compete with Obama.

The Oprah connection is interesting simply because last week the media incorrectly reported that Oprah did not want Sarah Palin on her show… As it turns out, Oprah Winfrey launched a press release confirming that she WOULD like Sarah Palin on the show, proving everyone has Palin fever…
