If you favor GIFs to emojis, the Pixit app is perfect for you. Pixit recently unveiled a GIF keyboard, so that when you're typing a message to a friend, there are several GIF suggestions that pop up on-screen, tailored to whatever it is you're having a conversation about. Rather than saying it with a static emoji, you have the chance to make your responses much more colorful by choosing clips from popular movies, TV shows and other finds from pop culture to add to your messages.

What makes the keyboard so adept at matching GIFs to text was consulting with a team of experts in Natural Language Processing, including linguistic PHDs from Stanford in order to develop an impressive algorithm. Additionally, you can tap on each word in your message to get a specific set of GIFs to come up for a particular word or phrase—prepare for hilarity to ensue.
