Microsoft is Augmenting SwiftKey with an Updated Bing Chatbot

Microsoft has announced that it is bringing its Bing AI chatbot to its SwiftKey keyboard app on Android and iOS devices. The chatbot, powered by the Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) technology, will allow users to interact with Bing directly from their mobile keyboard, without switching between apps.
The Bing chatbot will offer three features: Search, Chat, and Tone. Search will let users type or speak a query and get relevant results from Bing. Chat will let users ask the chatbot for help with tasks such as rewriting text, generating content, or finding information. Tone will let users adjust the emotional tone of their messages based on the context and recipient.
The integration of Bing chatbot into SwiftKey is part of Microsoft’s efforts to leverage AI across its products and services. SwiftKey already uses AI to learn from users’ writing styles and make suggestions. The keyboard app also supports multiple languages, spelling correction, and translation.
