 Recycled Packaging Lights Advertising and product placement have long seeped into our everyday life; from the bus we ride to the music video we see. The Packaging Lights by designer Anke Weiss show the transformation of a mass-product into a unique advertising platform. Packaging, which traditionally aims to support and promote the sale of its content becomes a product itself. The packaging of normal everyday products such as juice, cookies or soap gain a new semantic and functionality.
 Elements used in the layout of the packaging which call upon the emotions and desires of the consumer, are isolated and selected parts of the graphics are highlighted. Symbols, words and structure of the designs make use of deeply rooted spiritual feelings and subconscious longings. The packaging exceeds its original context and gains the radiance of a shrine or icon.
