LightArt introduces its new Ocean Coil collection, which is a sustainable lighting series that highlights recycled ocean plastic as its main source of the material. It uses a simplified process as different plastic types result in different properties.
For example, waste collected including ropes, trawls, or fishing nets will create a green color -- this informs the Seagrass pendant lamps. The cream tones that are seen on the Sea Foam set are due to the plastic bags and water bottles without any additional coloring. Although the capsule highlights upcycling practices, it also ensures that fine intricate craftmanship is paid attention to as the new lamps appear to be spun like pottery for an elegant look.
