For anyone who uses an alarm clock rather than a smartphone alarm to wake up in the morning, Lexon's 'In-Out Alarm Clock' solves a frustrating problem.

Going through the motions of a bedtime routine can become so automatic that many people nearly sleepwalk through the process. Then, lying in bed with the lights already off, the dreaded thought pops up: "Did I set the alarm?" With most alarm clocks, answering that question means getting out of bed, going over to the alarm, and physically checking the time. The In-Out Alarm Clock uses a creative and simple design quirk to fix that annoyingly common issue.

To set the Lexon clock's alarm, consumers pop up a mini display on top of the larger clock, and this display shows the alarm time. That means that consumers will always know how the alarm's set.
